Important Limitations

Conditions Outside of HandyMike’s Workmanship Are Not Covered

A workmanship warranty covers the work performed by HandyMike. It does not guarantee existing structures, materials, products, hidden conditions, or areas outside the agreed scope of work.

Existing damage, product failure, weather exposure, moisture, movement of the structure, misuse, lack of maintenance, or later changes made by another person may affect the completed work without indicating a HandyMike workmanship issue.

Examples of Conditions Not Covered

  • Existing hidden damage or structural conditions
  • Water intrusion, leaks, moisture, or mold
  • Movement, settling, or shifting of the property
  • Manufacturer defects or product failures
  • Client supplied products, fixtures, or materials
  • Normal wear, aging, deterioration, or maintenance needs
  • Damage caused by weather, animals, insects, or accidents
  • Misuse, neglect, or failure to maintain the completed work
  • Work changed, removed, repaired, or altered by others
  • Conditions outside the original project scope

What to Do When You Have a Concern

Contact HandyMike as soon as you notice a potential workmanship concern. Waiting may allow unrelated damage or surrounding conditions to worsen.

1

Contact HandyMike

Call or text within the applicable warranty period and explain what you are seeing or experiencing.

2

Send Photographs

Provide clear photographs of the full project area and close views of the specific concern whenever possible.

3

Allow Us to Review It

HandyMike will review the project history and may schedule an inspection before determining whether the concern is covered.

Please Contact HandyMike Before Another Contractor Changes the Work

Warranty coverage may be affected if another person removes, changes, repairs, adjusts, or alters the work before HandyMike has an opportunity to review the reported concern.

Unless immediate action is necessary to protect people or property, contact HandyMike first and allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work.
